Vision
The North Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians is working to reduce stigma regarding people who suffer with psychiatric disorders and envisions a society that has available, accessible quality psychiatric diagnosis and treatment.
Mission
The mission of the APA, TSPP and NTSPP is to:
    - promote the highest quality care for individuals with psychiatric disorders (including the brain disorders of intellectual disability, mental illness and substance-related disorders) and their families;
- promote psychiatric education and research;
- advance and represent the profession of psychiatry;
- serve the professional needs of its membership
